In tree care, aerial equipment typically includes bucket trucks and boom lifts with working heights ranging from 45 to 75+ feet, dielectrically tested booms, and safety systems like outrigger interlocks and ANSI-certified controls for secure operation near trees and power lines.

Our forestry aerial lift lineup includes models with working heights of 45, 59, 65, and 75 feet. The Versalift VO270 reaches 75 ft vertical with 50 ft side reach, ideal for high-canopy work. All models are mounted on heavy-duty chassis and come new for 2025 or 2026.

CDL requirements vary by model. The Versalift VST-55-HDI on a Ford F-600 4x4 chassis is classified as a Non-CDL vehicle. However, models with GVWR of 19,500 lbs or higher — such as the VO270 at 33,000 lbs — may require a CDL depending on your state's regulations. Always verify local licensing requirements before purchasing.

Several models in our lineup feature dielectrically tested booms and insulated aerial devices rated for work near energized lines. The VST-55-HDI carries a Category C 46kV insulation rating with TruGuard control system. All units comply with ANSI A92.2 standards and include safety interlocks, outrigger alarms, and DOT inspection prior to delivery.
