It depends on the chassis GVWR. Many of our models, including the Versalift VST-40-MHI and Elliott L50, are mounted on non-CDL chassis with a GVWR of 19,500-25,999 lbs, allowing operation with a standard driver's license in most states. Larger 75' units on Class 7-8 chassis with a 33,000 lb GVWR typically require a CDL. Always verify local requirements.

Platform capacities in our lineup range from 350 lbs for single-person insulated buckets up to 600 lbs for two-person platforms with material handling jibs. Higher-capacity units like the Elliott L65 and Versalift VST-55-HDI also include main winches rated up to 5,900 lbs for lifting tools and materials alongside personnel.

Look for equipment certified to ANSI A92.2 standards for vehicle-mounted elevating and rotating aerial devices, along with dielectrically tested insulated booms for work near energized lines. Many of our Versalift and Elliott units include Category C 46kV insulation ratings, TruGuard safety systems, and are DOT inspected and road tested prior to delivery.
